Volunteering is easy as 1, 2, 3!

There is nothing quite like sharing a table with others over food and drink. These are the basics of connecting communities and the heart of our compassionate commerce model. We are a mobile kitchen that runs on connection, coffee, collaboration and wood fired pizza. There is so much of 'us and them', and we want to be about the dignity of all people and collaboration over competition. We are here driving this thing to take our small steps towards big dreams, but what is a bus without the people?  This nonprofit runs on the time, gifts and resources of the community. We want to get to know you and identify ways to connect and collab with you and yours!

Volunteers must be age 16 years or older. 

  1. Read Volunteer Packet and Sign it Online (click here)

    The volunteer packet has information about Dayton Coffee Collab as well as important material on health and safety standards and a media consent agreement. This must be agreed to before serving.

  2. Find an Opportunity Below and Register to Serve

    You will need to create an account with our Point App, our volunteer management system. This is a one-time setup, and you can use the same login for future volunteering. When signing up, check your spam or junk folder for the verification email. Make sure to confirm your registration on the Point App or in your email inbox. Your Point App account will have important details like location, time, and contact information for your volunteer day. Remember to mark emails from Point App as not spam or junk to ensure you receive all updates.

Food Preparation and Service
Join our kitchen team to prepare delicious wood-fired pizzas, fresh salads, and specialty coffees. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a cooking enthusiast, your skills will help us deliver high-quality meals to our community.

Event Support
Help us organize and run community events, from setting up to managing activities. Your assistance ensures our events run smoothly and everyone has a great time.

Outreach and Advocacy
Spread the word about Dayton Coffee Collab’s mission and programs. Help us connect with local organizations, businesses, and community members to expand our reach and impact.

Administrative Support
Assist with the behind-the-scenes work that keeps Dayton Coffee Collab running. Tasks may include data entry, managing volunteer schedules, and helping with communications.
